Pickelhaube Humvee Turret Shields

Post by tmanthegreat » Fri May 07, 2010 8:52 pm

Earlier this week, I received one of Pickelhaube's latest creations and I must say that I was impressed with the kit. Fine sculpting, minimal flash, little sanding required, and easy assembly. I was able to get a very close paint match by using the Home Depot paint matching system (which was a nifty process to see in action!) After a little personalization, I am pleased with the end results. The shields really add a lot to the 21c Humvee 8)

The turret hatch is pretty cool with the folding pieces. The gun and shield rotate on their mount. Even the plug over the TOW missile launcher mount is removable. The turret sits tightly in the turret ring and the whole assembly can be inserted without modification to the 21c Hummer. The figures are FOV Bravo Team as is the .50 caliber machine gun.
