need four 1/72 machine gun barrels

Post by dragon53 » Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:10 pm

I need four 1/72 machine gun barrels to replace four nose-mounted guns knocked off my brand new FOV 1/72 B-25 Mitchell "Green Dragons" in a freak accident.

Since the B-25 is brand new and "naked" without the nose-mounted guns, I would appreciate if anyone has any spare 1/72 gun barrels to replace my lost ones.

plasti-struct rods or tubes might be your best bet.

got a caliper to give me a gauge on the .50cal in 1/72 I prob have spare stock in the bins I can send to you to make the guns. I'm thinking the rod I use for 15mm AFV radio mast might be the right size.

PANZER_M:

Thanks for the info. Can you give me more details on the machine gun barrels/radio masts you might have?

My other option is I'm looking into using 1/72 auxiliary landing gear struts from an F-4 Phantom to make replacement barrels.

Here's a photo of my B-25---I lost the lower four barrels in the Dragon's mouth.
