1/32 Plane dream list..real kits(vac-u-forms)

Post by Panzer_M » Sun Dec 13, 2009 8:07 pm

http://combatmodels.us/

Hs 123A, Ar 234, B17F/G, B25, He 219, Me 410s..and so many more. If I could stand Vac kits, I try on at the prices. 60ish for the Me 410 or Hs 129 with the detail package included, 100$ for the B-17 kit.

I'm good with plastic, getting better with resin, but this format would drive me crazy I bet with gaps and aligning..still though it's tempting for the Hs 129, Me 410, Hs 123A(although there is a resin one that pretty easy) He 219s along in 1/32.

Also saw they have a Heinkel He-177 for little less than the B17.

Would have to agree on the angst factor of a vac-form kit, could be worse; paper kit or balsa stick and skin.
Until Revell of Germany did their 1/32nd JU88A, Combatmodels was the only large scale source for the JU88.

Maybe someday we'll see a 1/32nd injected B17 too.

Very nice, but vacuform kits are VERY scary....
I will wait til these come out in plastic..
