chap mei seems to be getting better in touch with its customers. They have an actual website now and apparently respond to email enquiries...although i've never tested this.
It's worth sending them a barrage of praise for the AAV and Wespe, plus adding suggestions as to how they could be better, so maybe we'll get more and better 1/18-ish vehicles down the road. PTE seems to have listened to customers, hopefully CM will too..
