Hey everyone,
I posted this in the 1:18 forum as well to get maximum coverage for you 1:18 enthusiasts and i wanted to see if you customizers could help me out.
I'm trying to get my BBi Pave Hawk apart to begin doing some custom work on it. I've removed the plugs that cover the screw holes and removed the screws. That is about as far as i can get, besides the obvious removal of the tail, doors, etc.
The piece is evidently well glued. I'm currently running a knife along the seams in order to try and force it apart, but I'm not having a lot of luck. The posts that hold the screws in place are probably glued together as well, which makes things difficult.
I've seen folks here on the forum with theirs completely disassembled and I'm wondering if there are any tricks or tips you could share to help me out?
Thanks everyone.
Best,
-Paul

That's what I'm afraid it will look like. Every time i try and i get virtually no where. I"m about ready to start beating the damn thing on my dining room table until it looks like that.
Then we turn it into an expensive diorama...
