Pilots for Dragon Warbirds

Post by easy8 » Tue Apr 05, 2005 7:52 am

I just started collecting some of the WWII Dragon Warbirds and have to say I am very impressed! I do wish they had pilot figures though. I see the modern planes have an accessory pack that comes with pilots, do any of you who know if Dragon is planning on doing some WWII pilot figures? Or is there a company out there that makes pilots (in cockpit seated position) that might work?

If memory serves me correct, either Airfix of ESCI/ERTL made some WW2 pilots years ago, and I'll have to do some digging this weekend and will check as I've got a large plastic storage bin with tons of 1/72 and 1/48 figures from various kits that I never used. I'll also do some checking around the model show this upcoming weekend and will let you know if I'm able to locate any.

Regards,
Todd

Thanks WGP! I'd appreciate that! I've been searching the net and haven't found much so far, surely there's is something out there that will work.

Airfix of England (also under license by Heller of France) made and has re-released WW2 1/72 British, USAAF & German Pilots & ground crew in soft plastic (none seated, however). Presier of Germany, makes 1/87, 1/72 WW2 pilots as well in hard plastic (should have seated figures in their sets).

Hope this helps easy.
