Hobby Master 32nd scale SBD Dauntless

Post by mosquitomania » Thu Dec 11, 2008 12:41 pm

Anyone have a 32nd scale Hobby Master SBD Dauntless. I plan on getting one, but they are expensive. I have the BBI Dauntless, and it is a beauty, but the Hobby Master has the working dive flaps. Also, the pilot figures with the BBI version look much better than the Hobby Masters do. Any info woud be most helpful.

I don't have a HM Dauntless, but I hear they are very nice. If I recall, the only real issues with them is some of the first ones out suffered from "prop droop" but that has been fixed since then.

Honestly, I'd like to have one, but not at $150+

I had one but sold it. It was a great model as far as i was concerned. but i decided not to start another scale in diecast. I think its worth the cash. pretty hard to find now!
