Favorite 32nd scale BF-109 model

Post by mosquitomania » Wed Dec 10, 2008 12:33 pm

What company makes your favorite 1/32nd scale BF-109 model. I am talking models made of either plastic or metal. Who makes the best 32nd scale BF-109?

I really like the 21st Century version. You can get one at a good price, and it is well detailed. I like the brake lines on the landing gear struts. Good model, at a good price.

I agree with Sabrefan, you can't beat the 21st 109F/G models for the money ($15-$23). I have a couple of Corgis and they are also great but much more expensive ($60-$90). I will say that both have their strengths and weaknesses, Corgi 109's have moving control surfaces, but I like 21st's pilots better.

The 21c versions are the best affordable planes, and rank as some of their better aircraft for the 32x lineup. My favorites are the "Hackl" Bf-109G and the "Schultz" Bf-109F. The winterized '109F and silver '109G are also rather unique paint schemes 8)

Agreed on the 21C F/G model 109s. All of them are winners in my book except for the winterized version. :?
