Has Anyone Heard ......................................
how 21st Centurys new tooled P-51D is coming along? The reason I ask is I'm looking forward on hearing what the progress is on it and if they have a set release date on it yet. This new Mustang is supposed to beat the tar out of BBI's Mustang from what I've heard. And also anyone know how much longer 21st is going to be dragging their feet on releasing the big Avenger? Thats a bird I really want. So if anyone knows give a heads up!

when??
I think we have a pretty good idea of the 21st timeline for the 104, Avenger & Mustang. The S2 109 & Pzr. are a mystery however
The real question is have you heard if bbi is still doing WWII? What happened? I thought the P-51 & M4 were well received - what gives? I stopped even waiting for the figures - if they happen great, but bbi is way too flaky at this point to hold out hope for anything

Another P-51
I agree the P-51 is one of the most popular aircraft of WWII. But at the same time, the new 21C version will have to be very very nice to displace the BBi D model. But sales of the first 21C and BBi P-51's have the market just about saturated. Suggest 21C pick another WWII aircraft and bring it to market before BBi. Move forward on the Me-262 since it has been rumored 21C has the plane in the works. Since 21C has ruled out the Zero, maybe BBi will offer it.
I would love to see a P-51B. Imagine Shangri-La in 1/18! The P-51B was faster than the D model, and some pilots preferred it for that reason alone. Yeah, it only carried 4 .50 MG's, but the speed was very handy!
