P-47 Thunderbolt 32X

Post by Dauntless » Mon Nov 24, 2008 8:08 am

Scored the "Eagleston" at The Toy Headquarters online.

Scored the "Eileen" at Hobby Bunker for about the same price. I think I got his last one.

Everyone seems to be sold out of these, but I managed to find both. Around $30 with shipping for each is not too bad considering they always go higher on eBay, and I never saw either at retail ever.

I saw both at retail, but that was back in 2005. I really like the Eagleston plane, perhaps one of my favorites of the P-47 repaints. Tar Heel Hal is also a great scheme. It is flashy, but very well done on the part of 21c.

Just picked up an "Eagleston" myself... Very cool scheme.
I haven't found an "Eileen" yet, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled.

Funny, I never intended getting more than (2) P-47s... Apparently, I have the collector's "bug" and have a 4th P-47 on the way.

Damn this forum...

Yeah, I'm going to get at least two more different ones. Blond Angel and Tarheel Hal.
The hardest ones to find are out of the way now though.

Might as well get them 'cause I have a feeling that when they're gone they're gone for good.

"Blond Angel" is 1:18... do you mean "Angie"?

whoops yeah "Angie"

Good prices at that place. I didn't know about it or I would've bought my P-47's there. Bookmarked it though. Looks like I can score a couple there. Thanks.
