Forces Of Valor Ages Of Action

Post by sharpy » Sun Nov 02, 2008 4:53 pm

Sorry for another thread thats probably treading over old ground (the search option is very broad) but just wondered what the concensus was about these figures. I would love to collect a LOAD of those Romans and Samurai but not sure about the others.

I think they would have done better by limiting them to adversaries of each era. I mean theres no troops in there to face off against the Romans.

Some Germanic barbarians would have been great for a battle scene. Hope this line takes off and inspires a few more eras. I would love some Napoleonic 1/18 figures.

I love to collect a broad range of eras so this line is a must for me but not sure that its going appeal to others. I know this board is pretty hefted to WW2 but what do you guys think? Maybe some American Civil War figures in the first wave would have been a good idea? I am thinking back to my childhood 1/72 days and it was all 100 years war, Napoleonic, Roman, Zulu and Civil War

Hi Teamski,

The latest intel on the 'AOA' series (according to our reps today) is that they will be released in January '09.

This is due to a packaging change in Hong Kong which caused the production delay. The good news is that they finally know when the release is coming. Panache Place almost canceled this new line before it even had a chance to prove it's worth. :)

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks for the update Matt. I'm excited about this line. I really like the idea behind these figures.

I wonder what case assortment will be on these? I'm hoping it is not an even split because EVERYONE will want to go nuts on the Romans. I am guessing the Egyptians will be the pegwarmer.
