Major Kudos to BadCat

Post by chunks » Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:23 pm

From their blog and site:

"Free Shipping Added for US Soldiers Deployed Overseas

The right thing to do is simply the right thing to do.

Bad Cat nows offers FREE SHIPPING to US SOLDIERS deployed overseas under the following circumstances:

If you are a soldier serving your country and deployed to a foreign country and have an APO/FPO address, we'll pay for the shipping. (APO address must appear in the Ship To section)

If you are a soldier deployed overseas and are shipping a toy to a family member in the USA, we'll pay for the shipping. (APO address must appear in the Bill To section)

If you are a family member of a US soldier and wish to ship him/her our merchandise, we'll pay for the shipping. (APO address must appear in the Ship To section)"

Two years ago I sent about a third of my old unbuilt model collection (call it about a wc53 load) that went with the local IMPS - The Aleutian Tigers - to fill requests coming in for models and supplies to go to the warzone, all services. What BadCat's doing is a good thing.

I've always supported any person/company that show visible support of our troops, not lip service, actual support...

I will forever remember fondly the few notables that actually turned up at our remote VN unit to entertain/just say hello, and they just hung around talking. It made us feel good.

I haven't bought anything from Bad Cat, ...... that will change.

I think it is cool the Bad cat toys are supporting the troops. Thank you for doing that.
