Authentic Models Dixie Clipper For Sale (damaged)

Post by Coreyeagle48 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 10:36 pm

Greetings:

Here is the story, this plane took a major fall off my shelf and ended up breaking apart and has some damaged parts. It can be put back together but I don't really have the space for it (which is why it fell) and it really needs a new home.

There are some touchups that need to be done on the fuselage because of some paint scrapes. The wing needs to be glued back on in two places. The control surfaces used to move, but I glued them because of the tabs being broken and they wouldn't stay in place (tail surfaces still function. The engine cowlings just need to be reinstalled but one has some denting due to the fall. Although they are not pictured, I have the four propellors and nuts and they are undamaged.

She needs someone to get her back together, maybe make a stand to display her on and make her proud again. Or you can cannibalize her for parts. To give an idea of the size, the fuselage is about 22 inches long.

Here's a photo, again, I do have the props and they will be included:

Make me an offer on this, I really don't know what to ask. Buy or trade, if you'd like to fix her, make me an offer
