1:32 re-painted UK grant tank for sale w/ diorama

Post by Cabe » Sun Mar 16, 2008 6:11 pm

I have been doing some diorama building and tank re-paints on action series FoV and 21st Century vehicles.
Since I have been notified my 6 months of waiting are up here goes #1 in the BST department.

I know the green camo FoV grants are a bitch to find, so I started off to make a similar camo but in a light gray. But as usual I got to weathering it and then put some time into this.

This action series grant has been repainted with light gray camo with a black-green inner pattern. Most of it is lost in the extreme desert weathering. The tank has been remarked to be a desert rat thought the fender emblems have bee obliterated, it does have its Rat's flag intact.

So as mentioned, heavily weathered: painted with tamiya paint with Iwata eclipse airbrush, weathered with MIG filters, washes and pigments, 3 flags added(all in pose-able painted latex coated tissue and paper)
The the canvas skirts stowed on the side have been detailed as well, and though I left the original plastic "rope" hanger hooks on them, I used painted and weathered string to replace and enhance the look by practically obscuring the plastic rope ties with my own for weathered rope added realism. This tank has been over hauled and comes with it's own hand made desrt scene base I created.
However you need not bid on the base or the tank together, you can bid on the base or the tank or both, but a bidder on the tank and base together gets preffered treatment since they are considered a set. Just saying that it is possible to sell them separately.

accepting offers, please take into account that i will also be needing to charge you for shipping, I will box it myself to save you money in that area

so I guess throw me some offers, here is a ton of photos.
Thanks
