The Military Channel has been running "Das Boot", this week and it inspired me to make a U-Boat Captain. LMK what you think.

Fritzkrieg, your custom figures are great!!!
The Star Wars stuff is some of the coolest Sci Fi custom work I seen. Das Boot figure is very good!! What did you use to put him together?

German Calvary Officer and Mount

I 've been trying to fing a decent sized horse to pull of this custom. I think the horse is still a little underscaled. LMK what you think.

Fritzkreig, I love your work. your attention to details is exemplary. I had done a nam custom with tiger stripe camo too, but my dog "slinky" got hold of him and turned him into shredded grunt. I also like jerry on horseback. I remember a while back someone was posting pictures of a toy line that came as a set. One of which had a camel (with articulation) and also a scale horse (also articulated). I wish I could remember the name of the line but I am sure someone here has a link. Unfortunately, Tiger D's camera couldn't capture the detail in some of my customs, and we didn't have the time to set up a quality back drop. We should have captioned some of the flics too, like the 761st black tank crew and the french resistance figs. We will come more correct next time. I am inspired by you and zelda a lot. Haven't seen a post from zelda in a bit though.

Your figures ROCK!
I like the Vietnam guys. Very nice.
All of your figures do have a great attention to detail and the right amount of "roughed up and lived in" look.
Thanks for sharing with us!
I would like to see some WWI soldier too. Anything that has not been produced yet is always a welcome sight and a nice thing to show big figure makers (21stC, BBI, FOV) what can be done...

The company that makes the horse you mention is Power Team Elite. They aren't as easy to find as they used to be. I couldn't find any on eBay but here are a few links with information and a few where you can buy them:

yo fritz, these are great customs, i'm not too big a fan of your indy custom though

the tigerstripe camo SF operator is almost perfect

one bit of criticism about the DAK rifleman whose arms look a tad too long

Post by Fritzkrieg » Wed May 14, 2008 10:11 am

This custom was a little pricey to make, I had to canabalize 2 Indy figs just for the shorts and legs. I thank the results look fairly accurate. LMK what you think.
