Question about 21st C M113?

Post by momaw nadon » Sun Feb 20, 2005 2:17 pm

I'm wondering did anyone find the woodland camo M113 at Wal-Mart? I don't remember anyone saying anything about that version. Just wondering if it's another one that they have shown us, but never came to be? Thanks

Haven't heard anything about that one - save for the pictures seen at toyfairs. On ebay (the best place besides here to indicate what is being found out there) only OD green ones and the occasional tan one have appeared. These vehicles no matter the paintscheme seem rare enough, and where found often seemed to be discounted. I only found one tan M113 out of the four Wal Marts in the Fresno, Ca. area.

Never saw it at any in Los Angeles....and only saw 3 tan versions, one of which I bought, and none were on discount. I got a discount on mine cause the box was shredded. But I never even saw the OD version that was out there.

The only M113A2 found in the metro Kansas City area were all tan.

We only have the OD green version in NW Indiana. I can't believe how fast they got clearanced, either; I feel like such a sucker for paying $40 when they're down to $17 now.

But at least I should be able to get the tan version cheap on ebay.

None at all to be had in the DC area, so I've just bid on a couple... I don't have enough free time anymore to spend checking every week like I used to.

Of course, it's not like they're close by, either. The two closest are about 30 minutes each way from my house AT BEST, under the theoretically perfect traffic conditions that only happen at 3 am...

Here in Northern CA all I saw were the tan ones. Never laid eyes on the OD ones. Did manage to pick up a couple of the tan ones at clearance though. :D
