AH-1 Cobra Glowing Formation Lights

Post by wolf8564 » Wed Feb 27, 2008 7:00 pm

I don't know if anyone else has done this but I put it on all my 1:18th
aircraft that it is appropriate for.I find some good glow in the dark stickers that are plastic (not paper) and cut out the lights and apply to aircraft. Ive tried glow paint and fingernail polish but the stickers work the best. 8)

Very cool! Great Idea. We call them Slime Lights on the Chinooks I work on.

I did that years ago on a G.I. Joe chopper, but had not thought to do with my XDs, thanks for the memory boost, may just have see if I can find some stickers.

And I like your the repaint, that one that 21stCT should use them selves, never really did like the snake on theirs, that why I got the land cam one.
