Those of you who have gone to Wal Mart to find the toy section in complete disorder, broken down, empty shelves, etc and this is a new development over the last day or two and not the typical order of your Wal Mart toy store, what did you find next?
Mine has been a mess ever since the planes were spotted

. They seem to be doing one isle a night and of course I bet the 21st isle will be the last one they do!
Could not think of anything to put here.

One of the local WM's has just completed the renovated toy area (they moved the toy section to a different part of the store), but still has not restocked any new 21st stuff.

Priced @ 69 dollars and change.
Wow! That's a bit of a haul from Boynton Beach. Thanks for the heads up!

Both WMs I hit in my AO looked like a Soviet food store -nothing on the shelves and wrecked packages al over the floor. No Avengers but the new Stuka and a couple Bunker Hill F4-Us showed up though. The interesting thing about the Avenger is that it makes the Stuka look small and slender...

P.S. the shipping is a little higher i just did one today for a friend and it cost me 17.00 to ship
I agree. The cheapest shipping rate I've seen on ebay for an Avenger was $15, and most of the more experienced ebay sellers are pretty savvy about what it costs to ship an item. The Avenger is considerably larger and heavier than any other XD aircraft to date, and if he can ship them for $10 I would seriously like to know who his shipper is because I'm gonna start using them

I just threw $10 out there due to previous planes I've shipped. I wil have to find the the true cost once I have a Avenger to ship. Think $20 wuld be a safer guess.

You can ship one fedex ground for about/under $10 if you pack in in a box just slightly bigger than the one the plane comes in (depending on destination of course).

STARMAN 352ND wrote:It took me about 4 boxes ( USPS box 7 or Ebay box 7) and hot glued them together and put in a middle slice and the avenger fit really tight and secure and i mailed it off to New York to my friend there and it was a little over $17.00 to ship but that also had tracking and insr,Now if i used a little bigger box it was going to cost me a lot more so be carefull how big your boxes are.
It is borderline size very very close to being oversized.
JP
One thing I have noticed is the Box size that Bad cat uses, it’s about the right size of the OM boxes that the manufactures use. Which keeps the cost of shipping down.

I just got back from Walmart, and they have stuff all over in the toy dept. The 21st Century stuff is not all together anymore. No Avengers, oh well looks like another weekend of AWD.

I know it's a sin to hang a $75 airplane from your ceiling, however, I have a 7 year old child

The Avenger looks great hanging there. You might want to give it a little up elevator, don't want it to crash into the sea.

To all my fellow Avengerless friends,
I just spoke to the Store Manager at my local WM; she said that just because an item (THE AVENGER) is in the WM Distribution Center does NOT mean that ALL WM's would get it (THEM).....usually the WM Super Centers were the recepiants of these kinds of items (AVENGERSSsss). Although I was not pleased with her words, at least I have a better understanding of what a lot of us Forum members are experiencing and why it is unfolding the was it is. Now to add tip tanks and extend my CAP coverage.

The Town I live in has a Super Wal-Mart. It just that the Toy department manager has not finished stocking, the WM UPC ID tad is already on the shelf, Just no Avenger Yet. It seems every one in the toy department decide to take the lasts couple of days off. I wonder what is going on at our WM?
Btw They already put out the 1:32 FW 190 and the P-47 Dogfighters series.
They have a total of four well technical just Three I just put a down payment on one, so none of the E-sharks would get all of them.
I am still on the look out for the Bunker Hill version.
