The Tiger Stripe Migs are starting to replace the Nk ones that have sold here in Houston, but no F-86s have shown up here yet.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a super find to come upon. :D The searches are very tiring, BUT the rewards outweigh the "pain"! (Which F-86 and MiG did you scarf up?)

Good going,

NO Sabres here but MIGS GALORE!!!!!!

Post by longrifle » Thu Nov 30, 2006 7:09 am

Here in Greenville,SC there were 4 Mitches Squitch Sabres at one Wal Mart,as of this past weekend, I went back to snatch them all for a board member here last night and there all gone.
However another WalMart across town has several avengers, and get this 20 MIG-15's (NK version).
Dont know, I guess the Sabres are more popular in the upstate of SC. I dont understand why there are always more S1 Migs and never any Sabres here.
Look as if weare the last state to get anything from 21st and if we do its the leftovers. I will be suprised if I even see any Huffs',S2/S3 Migs here in the upstate, and if we do, it will be at least 2 months if not more from now
Im still waiting on "THE HUFF"
cant sem to find one or find someone to sell me one :-(

Come on guys! You KNOW better than to walk out of a store "thinking I'll come back and get 'em"

Those 4 are now on ebay!

Rgr, I almost did that when I found four Huffs.. Knew better and snagged the other three.

Painful lesson to learn, but it's a good one. :)

I found 3 North Korean Migs at a Fresno, Ca Wal Mart. Good to see them there, replacing the Chinese ones from a a few weeks back. Sort of wish they had been the Russian version as I've already got the NK Mig! No F-86s yet.

Being the holiday season, I picture alot of parents/grandparents/family members walking in the toy dept. at WM and spotting our sought after Migs/Sabres and picking them up for gifts! So not only are we battling the Evil-bay price hikers but now we have the last min. gifters as well to compete with out there!
I personally am on a "Huff" hunt but with the odds against me, I may have to take cover until the X-mas offensive is over!

F-86s have hit California (finally)! I found four "Mitch's Squitch" F-86s in a Clovis, Ca Wal Mart. I didn't pick any up as a fellow boardmember sent me one already. There wasn't anything else new in that particular store, save for the F-86s. I think they may go quickly - my town is home to a California ANG base (which was equipped with F-86Fs and Ds at one point), so there's alot of personell who would recognize the historic importance of the F-86. Glad these showed up in the west BEFORE the holidays!

4 S-1 migs have landed at the Boynton Beach, Fl super Wal-Mart.

8 Atlantic Avengers still on the shelf for a month now.

I have not seen any of the new 1:32 Corsairs or Stukas in South Florida.

Sorry to hear that - and Texas is a long way from Alaska! I've had the same thing happen with a shipment from BCA before. It seems they got and shipped the F-86s quickly, so their haste may have caused the error to happen. Give them a call and talk with someone directly. I've had VERY good experiences with the customer service at BCA. When they shipped my package to the wrong address, I called them and they sent replacement items out to me right away :D

Most defiantly was not Badcat, the shipping info I'd recieved from them has the correct shipping address. They also have my address on file and have also called me in the past directly, long distance, if they'd had any questions.

This looks like a USPS mishap to me. Which is most irritating.

But Badcat has been and will always be great by my experience.

Sorry 'bout this everyone, I should never make my irritations public, especially when I can't make my intentions clear. I was trying to be somewhat tongue in cheek since I know it'll be fixed...and perhaps garner some undeserved sympathy.

Had a chance to unpack my USSR Mig-15 today. What an outstanding piece! Pilot looks a bit goofy, but the plane itself is spectacular. Well done, 21C!!!
