Those bikes are good customs, but they look nothing like the BMWs.
If they were going for a R75, these are what is wrong with them:
First the motor, heads should be horizontal and exhaust is on the wrong side. Not to point out all the extras like the oil box placement.
Second the finders, they are to flashy. The look odd and out of place. Almost the same as chrome on a tank. They should be more thin with add supports.
Third is the fuel tank shape. It's too small and not the classic tear drop it should be.
Fourth would be the forks and handle bars. The forks should be telescopic type. Handle bars are too small also. They should have the beach cruiser type almost a half moon shape.
Those are the main things I pull off the top of my head. The R35 was more of a scout bike and would take much more work than the R75. Could use the front finder, handle bars, and exhaust, but the reat would have to be changed. There is really no good base for the R75 BMW as of yet in 1/18th scale. Would be cool if we see a company make one of these BMWs some day. I really like the old motorcycles. One reason why we haven't seen one yet is most likely the rider. Would be hard to offer a flexible figure to fit on the bike as well as be used off the bike too. I don't know if the first custom had a static rider as the second, but I would assume so for the best fit on the bike.
