That'll go good in my hot tub. :D I reserve the pool for my mock naval battles using cheap model kits of warships.

Well, I had a casualty in the move. I lost a prop blade on my Jabo P-47. It is somewhere on the floor of the old garage--I hope I find it. My aircraft count is up to 42 and I still have 3 more cabinets to search through.

Casualties in a move???? I don't want to hear it.....my recent move has several that I can see, most of my 1/6 vehicles were moved by me in cars but after placing them carefully in my garage, my son, in subsequent trips by himself and his GF, decieded to move everything to the attic to make more room. So far one Jeep wheel broken and more important one twin 40mm barrel, gone. As soon as my shelves are ready, I will be beginning to see what else in broke.

Repairs can be made, but what do I do about a missing 1/6 40mm borfors barrel, oh yea, I'll just check out the online 40mm borfors store.....

My 1/18 was packed in about 10 boxes except for my Stuka, which I haven't seen yet, at least I never let the Me-262 out of my sight.......I guess you get what you pay for....rent a truck says I, " nah Pop, we all have trucks, and quad trailers, everybody has big cars so who needs a rental truck", so since Mrs. TTT has a body part resembling a grabs something or other, the move resembled the Clampetts move to Beverly Hills.....

I still hope for the best. We're only half unpacked....

TTT--I hear you. Since I am moving all of a 1/2 mile away, I have been making half a dozen trips a day in my short bed truck. The first thing I took was all of my XD--but don't tell the wife

I used to have every single 21st c and BBi WW2 production plane made (50+) and a couple of repaint projects. I bailed out about the time 21st C had their "4 for victory if you buy from wally" contest. Since then I have decided to keep some favorites and "thin the herd". 1/18th is still the best scale but, along with 1/6th, it is the hardest to store.

I'm pretty new to the military stuff. I have been collecting die cast cars for about 8 years now though. I have well over 450 cars/trucks and even some engines in various scales (most of them 1:18 and 1:64), too lazy to count all those to get an accurate number. A trip to the USAF Museum in Dayton in 2006 re lit an old flame I have had since I was little in airplanes and I started a small collection of aircraft to go along with my cars. Heres what I have in the military stuff:

1:18 21st aircraft:
P-51D "Ridge Runner"
BF-109 "Seemann"
P-47 Bubbletop "Eileen"
P-38 "Pudgy V"
TBF-1 Avenger Atlantic

Got F-86 "The Huff" coming in, should be in tomorrow.

1:32 21st aircraft:
P-47 Lawonski
A6M2 Zero Flight Leader
Corsair Devil Dogs
P-51D Detriot Miss - dog fight set
Me-262 Red 13 - dog fight set
FW-190 Blue 12
Stuka North Africa yellow nose
P-40 Flag Officer Neville Duke
BF-109 Kurt Gabler

1:32 FoV Aircraft:
Spitfire Mk.IX No.241 Squadron, Italy 1944

1:32 21st M4 Sherman Tank, model kit. Never did intend on getting any Armor when I started with the planes, but I always was fond of the M4 Sherman and I like building kits so I couldn't pass it up. I needed at least one tank anyway. I may add another tank, still undecided on that one.

1:48 21st P-51C Mustang. Princess

1:64 P-38 Glacier Girl, sold exclusively at the Lost Squadron Museum when Glacier Girl was stationed in Middlesboro - not 40 minutes from me.

1:144 21st:
FW190 single
P-51 single
Me262 single
KI84 single
F6F single

F6F and KI84 Dogfight
Me262 and P-51 Dogfight.

I don't know exact releases on these or schemes, most likely the first releases though

Various:

Corgi Wheelz Fightning Machines P-38 X 2
Corgi Wheelz Fightning Machines F-14
Corgi Wheelz Fightning Machines B-24
Corgi Nose Art B-17
Maisto YF-22
Maisto F-117A
Tribute to Valor F4F-3A Pearl Harbor Series - James G. Daniels USS Enterprise. - Got at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio back in July while on my 2nd trip there..pre Dayton Air Show.

I love these planes but they take up so much room. With me having all the cars already in there, space is getting very tight. Well I am pretty sure after the F-86 comes in I'll have to call it, especially in the larger scales, due to lack of space. I'm a 20 year old still living with his parents so I can't do much as far as space goes. Oh well it is what it is. I still have the computer room though............. 8)

I guess for XDs I am a pretty modest collector.

2 Stukas (1 Snake, 1 Desert)
1 Bf-109E (Desert)
1 Bf-109G (disassembled)
1 Desert P-40
1 P-47 (Custom)
1 P-51 (BBD)
1 AH-1 Cobra (3 color)
3 F-104s (2 Marineflieger, 1 Smoke II)
1 BBi Blackhawk (re-release)

Vehicles:

2 M48s (re-release, diecast hull)
3 Tigers (2 diecast hull #326, 1 plastic hull #326)
5 Hanomags (1 custom, 2 Pionierwagon)
1 Willys MB
2 Dodge 3/4 ton weapons carriers
1 Dodge 1-1/2 ton weapons carrier
1 M3 Halftrack
1 M16 Motor gun carriage
3 PaK 40s (2 custom)
3 Panzer IVs (1 non-RC, 1 DAK Ausf G custom, 1 DAK Ausf F1 custom [in progress])

A bunch of figures; mix of 21C and Dragon. Perhaps 40 or 50 total. Includes 14 DAK bubbas.

That's about it.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

Since Fox Tare-28 mentioned some miscellanous cars I thought I'd highlight my civilian car collection. I'm glad someone brought up some classics and muscle car collections.

In 1/18 ERTL die-cast I have:
1967 Shelby Mustang GT-350 Silver w/white stripes
1967 Shelby Mustang GT-500 Black w/ white stripes
1968 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition. Oh that Highland Green color is beautiful!!
1971 Phantasm Plymouth Barracuda. Black w white interior. Wicked car
1963 Corvette Stingray split window. Fuel Injected. Black w red interior
1967 Corvette Stingray convertible. 427cu 435hp big block. Red with Black stinger and black interior

Revell 1/24:
1999 Jerry Nadeau NASCAR Racing Champions Ford Taurus. It has Atlanta Braves logos scattered all over it. I received this from my Jerry himself when I worked for the Atlanta Braves in 1999. Jerry was racing a car specially sponsored by the Atlanta Braves and TBS and they only made 1250 for him. Luck to get it.

An assortment of 1/25 scale 70's and 80's Jeep CJ7's and old 1969-1975 Chevy K5 Blazers. About 10 in all. I used to own CJ's and K5's in high school and college. Loved those old trucks!!

Those are some nice muscle cars, I have some of the same ones too. I would take about an hour to write down all the cars I got, even just in 1:18 haha.

I'd love to add to my 1:18 car collection. I'd like to get the Gone in 60 Seconds "Eleanor" Mustang and some other cars besides Stangs and Vettes, ie early 70's Buick GSX Skylarks, `69 SS 396 and `70 Z28 Camaros, `77 Trans Am, `70 Chevelle, `62 Ferrari GTO, `49 Jaguar XK120, `56 Chevy BelAir, `67 Ferrari 265, and 2006 Corvette. Love the new C6 Vette.

I can second that vote on the Ferraris. I still have my whole 1/18 Ferrari collection, from my 1957 Testa Rossa through my 60's era GTOs and GTBs, the less than awesome mid70's to mid-80's era, on up through the F355, which is when I unfortunately stopped collecting die-cast cars except ones I actually own. But I still have the 40 or so Ferraris, plus a nice assortment of Lambos, and some other domestic and import exotic sports and muscle cars. Plus the prize pieces of the car collection--1/8 Pocher-Rivarossi Testa Rossa and F-40, and a 1/43 Jouef Evolution 330P4.

I'd like a GSX too and Chevelle (though I am a fan of the 66-67), hard to find them. I got a 69 SS396, '62 Ferrari GTO, and a 62 Bel Air. My neighbor has a '77 T/A (and a real 79. I own a real T/A myself, a 97). I never really had the urge to get one, even though I like them. I'd perfer a 1973 SD455 though. I am probally going to get a XK120 or C type and C6 ZO6 for Christmas this year. May even get a C6.R. I have about 18 spaces left in my case I keep the cars in, so I am going to get back into them since I know I have room for them.

I have all of the 1/18 aircraft including Tendor Terror, very few figs, and about 85% of the armor. I also have 2 "in the white" Me-109E prototypes in 2 different styles of boxes, the one they used to issue the planes in and another that has the fuselage on top of the wing assy, the box I wished they'd used as more secure. And then there's... 8)
