Yikes. Going to be harder now to recognize if someone is unfairly charging big shipping costs on ebay now (the new cheating way of doing ebay).

Certainly not a good move for the small online retailers and us consumers. I primairly use USPS when avaliable at a small retailer or when shipping my own packages, though there are occasions where I have used UPS as the calculaed rates were cheaper - for example, it was cheaper to send my Flt. 19 Avenger via UPS than USPS from BCA to my home in centra california. From my own experience, however, I would have to say that USPS has generally delivered my packages timely and intact - and they also ship on saturdays!
