Found this link from the Bovington Tank Museum in the UK...

The colors and pattern of the museum's KT look remarkably similar to the pics of the 21C KT I posted yesterday, the turret number even appears to be similar, ie. blue numerals with a white outline, although the museum pics are not quite clear enough to make a definitive statement in this regard. Correct me if I am mistaken, but these Bovington guys are pretty picky about historical accuracy, are they not?? Maybe someone who is familiar with the museum and it's practices can comment. Cheers,

I have seen the info about the red primer before. What was unusual about this one was that the tank was a base sand and the red was used as part of the camo scheme. It wasn't a reddish brown as I have seen before, but a bright red.
