He he, I can see it now...

"The Avengers have shipped!"
"New Whittman Tiger!"
"Mig-15 is complete!"
"F-86 Sabre is done!"
"New Koingstiger in a few months!"
"T-34 in the works!" (Hope the most)

Oh damn, I was just sleeping :(

1:12 scale... That's my guess. :) Hey it's a popular scale, you never know what they'll come up with really.

Do I smell KT and an 88 with tow vehicle?

TTT
Speaking of the prime mover for an 88, I was watching one of my WWII DVDs and finally realized how big that thing is. It would be dang near as big as the Tiger I, if not bigger. That would be a sight to see! :D

Ok, I've been watching  and waiting :? for NEW 1:18 stuff just like everybody else. This is an addiction and I admit being a Junkie!

My take on the new products as stated by Roy Sutherland "Fans are about to experience the biggest tidal wave of breaking news ..." and the end of the announcement of "...the tide starts to turn on June 10th!" Am I wrong? Tides exist on a Beach! Could it be D-Day related, released in June?
How about a Landing Craft :) and some troops packaged like the Merrill's Marauders (probably be 1:32 due to size) Or a Prime Mover with an 88 and support troops in 1:18 packaged that way! Anything 1:18 is good for me!

Just my 2 cents take on the current discussion! 8)

I have to admit that a SDKFZ 7 and a 88gun would be a very nice addition to any 1/18 collection.
Now, maybe we can expect some modified SDKFZ 251/D and M3 halftrack, or a Stuart...

Now that's being realistic. I would love to see either or both in different variants. I wouldn't get my hopes up for a bunch of new tanks and artillery just yet...not that I wouldn't want that..

the news is coming over the next two months. It begins tomorrow. I wouldnt' get my hopes too high for the tidal wave all at once. If history is a teacher they will start with the already known stuff and slowly build with new information over the weeks ahead.

This is the June 10th headlines.

DUE TO THE HIGHER OIL PRICES, WE DECIDED TO SCRAP THE 1/18 AVENGER PROJECT AND CONSENTRATE STRICTLY ON 1/18 ARMOR FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. :

This should make Digger happy.

I hope we get a 1/18 DUKW.
Let's go with the D-Day theme.

absolutely! I've ridden them at the Wisconsin Dells; pretty neat vehicles that were widely used and would be pretty straightforward to make in 1/18.

The DUKW is the same chasis as the Chevy Deuce & 1/2. Maybe we'll get one of those too some day.
Just like the pak-40 and 88mm mentioned before, who could buy just one?
(Not me.) :)

you lucky boy :D

An M16 version of the M3 haltrack would be nice too. Both already exist in 1/18.

I have the first article locked and loaded! It goes live tonight at 12:00 midnight (pacific time)...

Announcing the .... (sorry you all have to wait a few more hours) The first article will not be a dud! Not after all the hype! Roy Sutherland said this to me last night.

"Lets come out swingin for the first one" He also said "There are several "shock value" items in store!

If you all had been watching AREA-21 5 minutes ago you would have seen me test the article for all of 20 seconds. If anyone was on they just saw a sneek peek!

I assume the frowns were for the fact that you missed the sneak peek and not that you are disappointed about the first article being awesome?

Hang in there it's going to be a fun day tomorrow!
