Hi guys,
After thumbing through the 2006 Dragon Armor catalogue, I'm not at all sure that we're going to see much more in the way of Cyber-Hobby vehicles, at least for now. They have the entire Dragon Armor series illustrated in the catalogue (three sets of forty vehicles), along with those vehicles yet to be released, but I didnt see anything new in the way of Cyber-hobby tanks. It could be they're waiting for the next group of newly-tooled vehicles to come out before announcing anything further. Or, this could be the end of the road. At this point, its all conjecture and nothing more.

As far as the catalogue goes, there's pix of the StuGs with side skirts, some more Hornisse/Nashorn/ Hummel tank destroyers, the Jagdpanzer IV L/70s, a handful of German halftracks, and a few other vehicles. Frankly, nothing to write home about and we posted all the new images/items on our web site so you can see everything free-of-charge without going through the trouble of obtaining the catalogue at auction.

As for the Barkmann Panther, well I'm sure the folks at Dragon are reading this board. I think the reason you havent seen one thus far is because he commanded an Ausf. D not a G at Normandy. They're sticklers for details like this (a good thing) so it might be some time before you get his vehicle. Frankly, I think it would make a nice diorama. You could create a small road with a couple of burning Shermans at one end and the Barkmann tank at the bend of the road at the opposite end.

That said, I wonder who's going to be the first inventive chap to depict Wittmann's engagement at Villers Bocage using the same scenario parameters?

Hmmm, not much great news then. One thing I've noticed, they keep using the Sturmtiger and Elephant over and over with different scenic bases. Those must have been a real flop in sales to the point that they are trying to get rid of overstock so keep reusing them over and over again. The diorama showing them in the factory is a fantastic idea, but come on, at least use a vehicle a little more popular. I'll get one just so I can take the armor piece that comes with it off, and use a better tank on there instead.

Below is a confirmed list of what they're releasing in 2006 in their 1/72 plastic kit line. Wonder when we'll see these in the Dragon Armor range...
