My pilot and NFO are molded, and awaiting paint - which I hope to get to once the football thing slows down a bit. Looking at the Skyworks figure, I might get two of those and use my arms and head on their torso (my arms are in the right positions, pilot is on stick and throttle and NFO is on radio switches and AWG-9 controls) and thier sleeves are all the way down as they should be (e-seat guys always keep their gloves on and sleeves rolled down when they are in the air. If a fire breaks out, they don't have time to put gloves on or roll sleeves down), and my guys' visors are down like they usually are during daylight flying.dragon53 wrote:BRUZILLA:

Thanks for the reply.
I hope you're still planning to market your F-14 pilots. If so, can you give a timetable and price estimate as to when your pilots will be available?

Re: Skyworks 1/18 Scale F-14 Pilots
I recieved my two unfinished pilots in the mail this weekend and I think they are great. As TKO said in a previous post, they are solid and very well detailed. The detail sculpting is great and has good depth to it. I hope to be able to get them painted and finished soon.
I also noticed that Skyworks just added a new page to their website for the pilot figures and have moved on to a second generation mold that is better looking. They have several finished examples of different squadrons on their website that look pretty awesome.
Again, these may not appeal to those that want articulated figures, but they should be perfect for those looking to add a more realistic looking pilot or set of pilots to their F-14 or other modern jets. It's also cool for those that want to match their pilot to a specific squadron and paint scheme with the ability to purchase unfinished pilots.
