Heck, I even had a full price pre-order on the Dauntless for two years with one of our etailers before I just gave up.

This is kind of a depressing thread.

Especially when you see the "prototypes".

The F-4 Phantom would have been a fantastic model, and the schemes that could be done are really numerous. This model tops my wishlist of things that could have been. But it is still behind the hopefully to be done JSI F-15, and Su27.

A-1 Skyraider would have been another great model.

Sad to see the box art for the B-25, and the Mig21 as well. :(

well the f-100 is still up in the air, but you don't hear anything about it either.

Hey, that's funny I never knew they made a M274 mule. Reminds me of the one used in the Stephen King film Maximum Overdrive.

You know, I really feel sorry for Military Toy Shop in this deal. These guys took a beating on supporting Admiral and the SBD, and Admiral didn't pull through. Here is to a brighter tomorrow I guess.

Who was going to make the F-100 model? That would be to cool.

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

Apparently this will be offered in a model kit that will require further assembly and a paint job. I read somewhere that if it were to go into production the kit would retail somewhere between $200-280. But don't quote me on that. It could be just a rumor.

The pics of that Skyraider make me sad. I would have bought at least 10 of them myself. Somebody needs to make it. I can guarantee at least 10 being sold the first day.

Seeing all these prototypes makes me sad too.

I remember looking at a 1:32 Nakajima Kate torpedo bomber too over on Jason's site. :(
