What weapon accessory would you like to see
Ok guys this thread is sort of inspired by some of the joe boards who periodically have threads relating to what they would like to see marauder inc do next.
Anyway my question is what items of gear for your figures i.e. weapons, grenades, packs, web gear etc would you like to see from marauder,21st,or bbi
I am a modern collector so most of my interests would be modern such as:
C-4 blocks
Canteens - to be used in dios
ANY sort of medical gear
Wave rider helmets
individual radios
PDAs
Digital cameras (smaller then the target BBI ones)
Amoung MANY other accessories
for weapons i'd like to see:
L96
GPMG (British and M240 US version)
a Glock
Sig Sauer
FN Scar
FA Mas
amoung alot of others but i'd also like to see a garand with removable 8 round clip and a thompson with removable mag aswell as a load of German guns.
So what would you like to see?
oh BTW I have recently seen on joecustoms that John has hinted that a UMP is in wave 4 add that to the m-4, xm8 etc and looks like it could be an interresting wave

LOL dont know if we will ever get them. I think there is obviously a real shortage of German gear that would be nice to have in the arsenal!.jaywhy8202 wrote:How 'bout 1:18 scale DD-214s???
aferguson really like the idea of the flamethrower and mortar but i think it would be great to get loads of mortar shells to go with it! I know thats branching out in to more dio items then to a figure but anyone got suggestions for dio items too?

I would actually just like to see a nice selection of Allied and Axis weapons, maybe broken down by country, similar to what bbi did for modern weapons. Oh, and an MG-42 that isn't mounted to a vehicle, maybe with bipod--the only one I have seen came with a 5-inch Jin-Roh figure, and is a bit oversized.
Otherwise, some specialized mission gear would be cool--mountain gear, etc.

Almost everything you have mentioned is currently available, very detailed and accurate, only problem is it's available in 1/6.
I have multiples of almost everything mentioned, except the DD-214's, the bangalore torpedos and the 8cm mortar.
Jeessz, I thought putting these accessories on my 1/6 guys was tough with my stubby fingers, I can't imagine putting canteens or a bread bag on a 1/18 belt.........or a 1/18 belt buckle or strapping on spenders...Wow
I've spent a half-hour just putting on a pair of boots....
You guys are gluttons for punishment.

Actually, come to think about it, bombs (250lb and 500lb) from both WW2 and modern would be very handy for an accessory.
And how about depth charges for the Avenger bomb bay?
Cannon shells, full and fires shells and open empty cases for these shells?

1/18 WWII Cav squadron
Every December 16th I wait and see if a 1/18th scale M8 Greyhound, M20 recon car and a recon modified Willys jeep in 14th cav markings will be out in time for the BOB anniversery. 14th cav was on the line at Loshime Gap and held against overwhelming odds before pulling back to St. Vith Belguim. Cav recon guys were part of just about every armored div and would make a great addition to the collection. Also GMC 2/12 ton w /black crew from the redball line and black artillery troops. Both played an important role at Bastogne and would appeal to new collecters.
1/18th c rat & ammo boxes
I would like to see field radios, rations and ammo boxes, some WWII UK troops. My kids are addicted to the old "Combat" TV series and think that doing the charactors in 1/18th would be great
