WIP: 1:18 Sd Kfz 11 Leichte Zugkraftwagen 3t

Post by gary1930 » Tue Jan 02, 2007 10:20 am

Here are a couple of progress pics of my Leichte Zugkraftwagen, which was a late-War vehicle based on the Sd Kfz 251 chassis. The AFV Club 1/35 version is in the background.

If anybody has a loose, broken Kubelwagen (either 21st or Minichamps), I need the headlights, Notek, and tail lights from one.

Not easy. They screw it AND glue it. It looks to be impossible to get the track assemblies off as the road wheels are glued on and cover up access to the screws holding them on.

Wow, everything looks spot on by the 1/35 version. Nice job.

Gary, you're like a mad scientist when it comes to customs. That is one way to get a truck! I have to come see this one.

Gary brought the halftrack over yesterday. Even unfinished it's a beauty.
If Gary ever starts selling kits, I'll have to get one of these to tow my Pak-40. 8)
