Jason is this better for you, I think you need to get yourself an avatar to make it easier to find your posts.
Anyway here are all the quoted guesses posts before the "No one has guessed it " post that was Posted: Sat 16 Dec, 2006 14:48.

Best wishes to LaDonna, Jim and the rest of the family and to all of the hard working employees at admiral toys Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
My guess its a B-17

When and if we produce the B-17 in 1:18 scale it will be a full aircraft.

"Flayrah, your suggestions for production of the B-17 are impressive. I will suggest this method of production to our design team. We are excited about producing the B-17; however, I do not want you all to get your hopes up and be disappointed if you do not see it in 2006 or early 07. It is a massive model with many constituents of production and shipping to be determined.
Besides it’s on there 1:18 squadron logo

Shin Densetsu, I love the F-14 and would love for my company to produce one. I must say wait and see.

I think I once said "why hasn't anyone made and F-15 yet? It's smaller than an F/A-18, and just as popular" and you agreed with me Jason.
Does that count?
Also, I think we have an answer that Admiral is making an F-5 , and thanks for the insight on the wing tooling!
Jason When I called you about the misprint with the tempo problem on my F-86 a few months back We talked about the F-14
And you wrote this shortly after we talked
VMF115, I can give you a hint of what is coming next year. We will have a couple of aircraft in 1:18
and this

MightyMustang, I would bet that you will see an F-14 in the future, if not by us then from someone else. It would be a huge model but sales would be strong. We are not in production of one at this time, but maybe in the future.
uple of tanks/guns/vehicles in 1:72 scales. The aircraft (which I am assuming you are most interested in) are all new to this market.

Also a snazzy landing gear, probably also made out of metal; which would be need by both the B-17 and F-14 due to the weight.

Jason your silence about the F-100 is the answer while many have speculated prior to the announcement of Me-262 on the forum you listed it in a group of aircraft.

F-4, F-14, F-15, F-100, ME 262, ME109, B-17, B-25, B-29, A6M2, A6M5, NOT A-10 (Just trying to assist the Hunger Strike guys to get a good meal in their bellies, We are not releasing an A-10 in the near future, but it has been duly noted)
I am probably wrong about the B-17, F-14 and the F-100 any ways. Oh well
That’s my shot after combing through all the threads, probably missed something.

Vulgarvulture, we are looking into the F-4 just like we are looking into the A-10, F-15, F-22, Harrier, 1:18 B-17 etc. (Yes I said it) but you will have to wait and see. We are looking into everything you have discussed on this board and nothing is dismissed immediately without fully exploring engineering and cost. Anything is a possibility. We just have to find a way to make it affordable for all involved.
its the Harrier or F22
I would put money on the harrier because of the size an F22 would be large.
However the harrier would have metal landing gear along with the wing tip landing gear struts And it would snazzy

Nice, but NO.
The name of the aircraft is "one" name. Therefore, if your answer is more then 1 name... you are wrongish!
No matter if you are right or wrong. If you guess it, I will say nothing untill the week before TF!

Here's a long shot...........
Jason wrote (I should write for Trojan).
The Trojan was designed as a F-86 trainer so cockpit layout is very simular to the Sabre?

That was a great interview, thanks for the info!
A quick comment on what needs to be looked at from what Jason has said in the past:
Quote:
I did give you the name of the next aircraft in a post awhile back. It was stated outside of my list of aircraft. The hint is buried in the post itself.
That tells me, he mentioned it but was NOT part of the list he considered or stated.
Another hint was a posting where he mentioned this:
Quote:
But if we do make a showing in the 1:18 market, it will be with a splash. (Was that a hint?)
This could be a reference to an amphibious aircraft or to a mention posting from Shin Densetsu where he mentions this:
Quote:
...what is the market like for vietnam era craft? It seems like the 1/18 companies put their feet into the water but don't venture towards the deep end to to speak. We got sabres MIG-15's, even an F-104, and of course the brige the gap we could have the thud, crusader and phantom.
Could this mean a Vietnam aircraft?
I think it could refer back to a posting that Jason made back in Jul 12, 06 to Quixote511:
Quote:
Quixote511, our A6M2 type 21 is still a very viable project and may just be seen in “January” of ‘07. We are working on improving the model to offer you the better of two Zeros ever produced. Not saying that it will be any better but come on; we have a 50/50 chance of offering the best A6M2 on the market today and we will try. This is all I will say about this project at this time.
With that being said my vote is for the
Nakajima A6M2-N a Zero with floats!
