Does the xd panther come with a machine gun?

Is there a machine gun that attaches to the ring on the top of the turret? I dont own one yet, but would like to. I havent seen any pictures so could someone please help. Thanks.

Also, how many hatches are there and can the back open or anything like that?

I've got 4 and they did not come with machine guns :x . As for the hatches there are 4... driver, gunner, comander and rear turret hatch and all open.

That's really surprising. I never noticed that the panther didnt come with a machine gun. All the more suprising since the Tiger does....

No machine gun on the 1:18 version, though there is the track for it. The 32x Panther has one, however, plus a radio antenna. There are actually five hatches that open - all the afore mentioned ones plus an engine hatch that opens on the rear deck behind the turret to reveal an empty compartment.

I just got one of the winter Panthers on Sunday. Its a nice vehicle, but I think the whitewash and weathering could have been done better - its painted over a white base plastic. You may want to also widen the hole for the commander's legs in his position on the turret, if you want the figure to sit properly in the hatch. This was origionally designed for the midget figures and the new larger figures don't fit well. The figures fit well in all the other positions, however.
