I really don't think this is going to be bad news from BBI. I mean if it was news like them getting out of 1:18th scale, then why would they wait till Friday evening, or Saturday morning. That is the kind of announcement they can do any time. I know what I am hoping for from BBI, and I have a good feeling they will come through for us. Lets just wait and see.

I've seen it before but it doesn't strike me as sad at all. I'm sure whatever we're going to hear is good news.tko211 wrote:There is a Hellcat scheme out there that I have seen before... It's dark blue overall and it has a shark mouth but the shark mouth is VERY turned down in a frown shape. Wish I could remember what pilot / scheme it is.
Anyone else recall seeing this one before?
A little song, A little dance, A little seltzer down your pants!~~~Chuckles the Clown.
?
Probably isn't an AC? The reason I say AC is that I would be SO happy to eat my words if it were armor
Why would I be sour it isn't an AC?
Actually, "watch this space" for 4 days is a bit rude, but you are right we are having fun with it...

We are certainly not folding our tent and Friday the 13th has no significance.
I won't keep you in suspense too long as I will give you the news with an image on my Friday .
It may not be everything you want but it will please you I'm sure
So, 1st clue.."It's sad"
2nd one is "it flies". "

ok, how about this. It's sad may reflect it's name or reputation. I'm thinking "widow maker" - Martin Marauder? Then I thought the Harrier jump jet was also dubbed the "widow maker". Which kinda fits in with the "it flies" comment - which means an aircraft but could imply something else and the harrier can indeed fly but can also hover. Over anylisation?

"you get in a steep dive in this thing and you've got almost no maneuvarabilty at all. You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the broad side of another barn"

Hmmmm.....so now we know it flies and it's not everything we want....sadly and disappointinlgy that probably rules out the A-10 and Hellcat.....
However, maybe the "It's sad" refers to a Dauntless:
"It's sad" that for it's great contribution to the War in the Pacific the Dauntless was replaced by the Helldiver. The Helldiver was considered by it's pilots to be an inferior aircraft to the Dauntless.
Just a guess...

I would rather a Dauntless to a Hellcat actually. Much more interesting bird and potential for more detail. History aside the Hellcat is not too exciting imo.

The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.
lol
I figured you knew me too well to want AC over armor...hope you won some money cuz it looks like you'll have something to spend it on
