Very nice Normandy! So when are we going to see pictures of the that German armored train with the now extra Panzer IV turrets. Just kidding. Beautiful tank! You do realize if they come up with a nice quad 20mm flak setup, you will have to give the train a go.

Very nice looking. I have been thinking about someday taking the easy way out and make the version where they left the original hull and added the superstructure to the top. That was alway my Dad's favorite version.

Thanks guys. I started in Sept. '05. Its not that it took along time in hours, it just took time to get finished. LIFE happens.
I was thinking of making the raised hull version but just didn't like the look, that and I only have so many Panzer IV's I can cut up.
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
On Sat I started an Assault Panzer IV Brummbar, this is moving along nicely.
Kamikaze, I wanted to enter your custom plane contest with a Horten Ho 229 flying wing but first things first. After the Brummbar the Armored train in next.

Yep. That's the one I was thinking of. I have a few Kamikaze skunk works projects in the works (none finished of course). I can appreciate the time put into that piece.

7thva, all the custom work is sheet styrene (some folks call it plastic sheet) made by Evergreem scale models and Squadron putty. Oh and the main gun is brass.
Mark, I'd like to see some of those porjects. Take Care guys its back to work.

Normandy, what thickness of styrene do you use for xd?
and do you glue it together with squadron putty?
I can't seem to find either at my hobby store

Mediump, I tend to use 1mm and 2mm thicknesses of styrene. The glue I use is called Zap a Gap CA+ (Cyanoacrylate). The Squadron putty is to fill the gaps and spaces, let dry and sand.
You may have to ask the hobby shop to order these products.
The sheet styrene is from Evergreen Models.
Item No. 9040 Plain is 040" or 1mm thick. 2 sheets per pack $2.50
Plain just means smooth some styrene comes with texture.
Item No. 9080 Plain is 080" or 2mm thick. 1 sheet per pack $2.50
The glue and putty just ask for by name... Good Luck, Normandy
