I have one also,

I have a question,
Look at a photo of the German F-104

http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com ... 0_26392756

Look at the Main Landing gear, there is a lower support bar there, my F-104 does not have them, do your F-104's have them?
Also, wasn't there supposed to be opening air brakes?

The Walmart on Rt10 In Ledgewood, NJ has two German F104s and the Black Me109s. They had a few Hummers and 3/4ton trucks too.

The Newton NJ WM has a small assortment of current land vehicles, no planes but tons of Japanese Marines.

Franklin, NJ has about 5 Hummers and 3/4ton trucks and tons of US Marines and Paratroops. One Huey also present.

No extra strut on my 104.

The only photo I've seen with extended air brakes was the silver US 104. All the other photos show them closed.

The airbreaks on all 21c F-104s do not open. They are shown open in the box picture, as that is actually a picture of the concept model. Too bad. Admiral Toys got a leg up in that they included the airbreaks on their F-86

Friend found the new stuka at the bremerton WA wally world. It had a broken propeller blade :( the twisty ties failed this bird it seems as it was fairly loose the fuselage .But as this is the first one we had seen here he grabbed it anyways got a $4.00 discount for it.He also found out the assistant manager is into 21st stuff too  so that may be why all the good stuff is gone(just joking if he is one of you all  ) )
Could not think of anything to put here.

I've heard stories about collector types being buddy buddy to toy department people and getting advance notice and first crack at new stuff before it goes on the floor.

That's why I pay a little more for online "new" stuff. I know it's pegged for me and on the way. Most of your online stores charge $10-15 more for the planes and word it so it seems it's the only one left in the world.

I have only seen the silver F104 at two local walmarts. One only had two and the other had four. Most of the other local walmarts have started getting the German F104's. I have noticed that the Japanese figures are showing up again.

The Bunker Hill Corsair and the Stuka arrived at the Allen Road Peoria, Illinois Walmart today. $25 each. The Seeman 109 and the German 104 are showing at quite a few central Illinois stores.

Wow - In the southwest atlanta area I've checked 6 different WM in the last week and there is an average of 4 German 104's and Seemans but no StuKas!!

I have three sets of the BoB II now - They are everywhere. OMG figures have gone - but the Japanese Marines and US Marines sit and sit - along with 109's US 104's and Hummers. Hummer the new Dust collector.

I see something here...

Are all Stukas and Corsairs cheaper?

On an side-off-topic note, anyone want to answer my signature question?

You may want to stock up on the BOB II figures. Wouldn't surprise me to see a feast or famine distribution on those guys :( and I'm sure someone one the board will be interested in them.

My Stuka was regular price, $39.84, but as I mentioned before, my Corsair was $5. Lucky me! I only found them at one Wal-Mart in the Houston area so far.

Did the price sticker say $5 or only when they scanned it?

WM finds in St Louis, MO

Post by aae83 » Sun Mar 26, 2006 5:04 pm

In the St Louis area, I've found the following at various Walnut stores:

1/32 S2 Zero
1/32 S3 Zero
1/32 S3 Macchi

These were found mostly in stores on the south side of STL (Kirkwood, Fenton, Tesson Ferry and Cahokia, IL).

Also found the 1/18 Stuka and Corsair.
