no, those are the best pics i've seen so far too. Apparently they are due out any day, according to one seller i emailed.

The only problem is that the signal bearer, which was shown at the fall toy show, is not coming out. Disappointed by that. The other problem is that there just aren't enough of them. Only 5 figures in the series, the first Knight series had 15 figures.

Hopefully if they sell well they'll be a second series.

There is also a second series of Knights coming out at the same time. 8 figures in this set....all Templer/Hospitalier knights of the Crusades. They look really good too.

Keep in mind these figures are not articulated.

I'm hoping we start seeing some Napoleonic figures before too long.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

No articulation is a good thing. Otherwise I'd be all over those.

Those look darn good! I will have to get a few, considering my interest and schooling in the subject of ancient history 8) At least six of the legionaries (in a testudo formation) and the Centurion in the lead would make a cool little display. I don't think I could afford to make the proper 100 man formation, though it is feasable! How reputable is the Sierra Toy Company? What other dealers will be getting them, if known?

I really like these. I'll start out with 4 each of the legionaries and a centurion. I hope they come out with more sculpts, especially if these look as good in hand as in the pics.

Oh, I forgot to write that Sierra toy co. is 1st rate with excellent service. I 've placed at least 2 orders with them and will w/o hessitation pre-order the Romans from them.

You might want to be a little more specific :) Its the English & French Knights made by BBI that are for sale through TRU on amazon.com - not the Romans!
