ME262 Nightfighter
ME262 Nightfighter
I sure don't see many 21st Century 1/18 Me-262 Nightfighters around. Are they that rare?.........Thanks for your input, John

No, but for a while they were selling for $40 and people snatched them. Occasionally they turn up but I guess most who wanted one got one then.
I did. Sold mine already, though.

I would say it's quite rare now compare to the regular 262 day version. You don't see it in ebay very often. I was lucky to get one from a member here for decent price but cost me a lot for shipping to Canada

Several sold on Ebay as late as February; all in the $160-$190 range.

Re: ME262 Nightfighter
For a reminiscing story, I remember paying in the $70 range for my original ME-262B back in 2007 and I got a second one for well under $50 in the famed Monkey Depot sale of 2008-2009. I shortsightedly sold my second plane in 2011 only to have my original example fall and break in 2012. So I ordered a new one that was in the $170 range, feeling sick that I spent so much when I’d had a boxed one the year before... I then decided to order a backup example to the 2012 replacement plane in 2013 and got one on eBay for around $100 only to have the post office completely destroy it during shipping... So I’m left with my 2012 replacement. It is in great shape, just I handle it carefully!
