A few months ago, I purchased several resin figures of WWII German U-Boat crewmen made by U-Models and Royal Models to go with my 1/35 scale U-Boat models. I had been using some Dragon CanDo 1/35 German tanker figures, but they just never looked right. I recently finished painting the resin figures, and while I'm not a figure painting expert by a long shot, I feel they came out pretty decent and certainly add a nice element to the models. I've still got to improve at painting eyes (which is extremely difficult) but the shading technique seems to work well... And I like these figures much better than the repainted Dragon tankers I was using.
