1:1 replica of a German AVF
1:1 replica of a German AVF
I thought I saw a post here on people wanting to build a German scout AVF, but no plans. A call went out and the census is that they are not known to exist, and people use a Range Rover. and a Tamiya model ... I know where a complete set of all jigs are located, and vector drawings. They are not easy to get. A fist full of $ can buy a set.

Ok, well apparently it was not here. Russia is where you can get them, if you have the right friends, and cash. Buy a HAAS CNC, and you can build one. I've seen the jigs, but I do not have them

A Tiger would be impossible, however a YAK-9 would not. CNCs that can do this are $100,000 but plan to burn through $1000,00 bits. I have all the Yak-9 schematics except the loading numbers. AN engineer could figure that out. Just do the air frame / e;electrical .. and such then buy a purpose driven Allison V8 and you have a WWII warbird .. the Allison is $300,000.

I correct myself.... A steel Tiger would be impossible to build. My guess is that this is aluminum. resin, and lacks many components for it to last. Way cool non the less but for that price you could buy a real Sherman, and for 250,000 more a brand new Yak-9 build by Yakolev and Allison.
