M5A1 - SNAFU KID - now available - 1:18 AND 1:16
Not to sound like a used car dealer, but I am indeed clearing out my inventory to make room for inbound M5A1's. (haha!) Check out the BST thread for a list of already printed Shapeway items I'm offering below my printing cost. http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/view ... =3&t=34990
While 3D Printing is still expensive, with a lot of optimization of the model, the final pricing came out a little better than expected with the 1:18 version running about $395 USD and 1:16 at $530.

Battleground 1:18 https://www.shapeways.com/shops/battleg ... 1%3A18&s=0
Features:
- Rotating turret
- Gun elevates
- Vented decks
- Functional Turret Hatches
- Functional Chassis Hatches
- Hatch periscopes rotate 360 degrees
- Static tracks
- Bustle and MG Shield are included but optional (for M5A1 late or early)
** Note that the .30 cal MG and mount are from the 21st Century halftrack. If you need one, there are some in 1:18 on Shapeways.
Here is the final M5A1 "SNAFU KID" as lovingly finished by our very own 1958Zelda:

Soon? Chances are slim. But for the sake of the idea, were you thinking the whole tank or just the turret to put on top of the 21st Centurty M48?

I think $395 on that 1/18 is pretty damn great man, good for you. That's less than I imagined it'd cost. 3D Printing is funny how it works I've found. Sometimes just a reworking of the print format alters price dramatically.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

Whoa, that thing is amazing in quality! I am more into big gun looking tanks, but the back end and everything on that is ridiculously cool.
Price seems proper I would say.
Too bad that Puma was so dang much...was that one re-worked by any chance, and was that previous price for them the best pricing bar none? I just always wondered about that, wanting one, but dang they were pricey.
