My Patton tank ( Nam)
My Patton tank ( Nam)
Tamiya kit.
This is my 1st tank and it was built of of box. I'm currently working on some Master Box Figures to setup a small dio with this tank. Hope you like the pics.

That's nice! Really great weathering. I'm assuming it's 1/35? Would that be the same version of the Patton as the 1/18 21st Century example?

Great job. Look forward to seeing your diorama.

Fantastic, you did some great work on that M-48, CNQ

Re: My Patton tank ( Nam)
thanks guys.
Axis, yes it's 1/35 scale. I don't have the 1/18 21st Patton tank but I guess it's the same tank.
I really enjoyed working on this tank from Tamiya. The fits are excellent and no putty or filler was used.
I will post some pics when I finish the dio.

Nice build and paint work! Is it a Tamyia kit? I built the Monogram M-60 way back when, but it didn't have half the detail your model has.

Oh, yes, I missed that in the previous post. I should have known better by your description of the assembly. Ever since I started building Tamyia kits some 40 years ago, their molds and fit were always top notch.

I finished the small dio for this tank. Figures are from Master Box and I made the trees myself . Hope you like the pics

Very nice! I like the figures as well... Something one doesn't see as often in the smaller scales. May need to get some of those for my 21c M113

These Master Box figures have very good detail and best bang for the buck.
Is your 21cM113 1/18 scale ?

No, I've got a 21c 32x (1/32 scale) M-113 in the proper M-113A1 ACAV configuration for the Vietnam War. 21c made it 11 years ago as part of their 32x Cold Steel line and it was the most detailed vehicle they ever made in 1/32... Fully detailed interior and exterior, including opening engine compartment and stowage even on the inside. It is actually more detailed than 21c's M-113A3 model!cnq wrote:These Master Box figures have very good detail and best bang for the buck.

Although in 1/35 scale I think they will still look fine when displaying with your 1/32 tank. These are very detail figures.
