Which One ?
G'day Guys.As collectors we all have a story of the one that got away, so if you had a choice of One only item to add to your collection, which one would it be?.
For me it would have to be the P51 (all silver shark mouth) of 77 Sqd RAAF.
Let's hear your Choice
Cheers
Studly
PS
I am still looking for one.

Re: Which One ?
I'm lucky enough to have two of Pickels King Tigers as well as two of his Horten 229's which were must haves
in my collection. If there were "one" it would have to be an as of yet, not produced..... ME 163 Komet in 1:18.
skyjerks Komet doesn't count!

I would like to have the PUMA and Ostschlepper in 3D-print.
And if it was really produced the Admiral toys F86 Hartmann-Sabre in Aluminium look.
It was anounced here in Germany but I´ve never seen it in real

Re: Which One ?
21st's Government building playset that was shown at a toy fair but never produced.
For items actually made, I'm with Studly with the RAAF Mustang, but my choice would be the camo version. Odds are VERY unlikely I'll ever find one.

I wish I had kept the 1/18 RAF P40. I paid $25.00 for it but took it back. Decided I did want it but they were all gone. The other is the Bunker Hill Avenger.

Either (or both) of the Battle of Britain Spits.
What makes the P-51 Mustang so special?

Yeah and to rub it in there was the Aussie shark mouth P51 and California Cutie for sale for $20.00 each at our local model show a couple of years ago - needless to say they were sold rather quickly but obviously they didn't know what they were worth!!!!
Re: Which One ?
Either a Higgins boat or some kind of LVT variant, obviously never made. Otherwise a few 1/18 deuce and a half's would be nice and maybe a Stug III or IV.
it be like dat

Re: Which One ?
Got most of what I wanted over the years, including all but one of the Spitfires. The Biggin Hill 610 squadron "DWK", eluded me...the one plane that got away.
