Revell 1:32 F4F -4/MARTLET Mk.V

Post by cnq » Sat Oct 11, 2014 12:31 pm

Just recently finished this plane but I have not got a chance to post some pictures until now. This kit is very old and decals need lot of solution
to stay down. Fits are also not very good. The only good thing is it's quite cheap and I read somewhere that Revell make the correct
cockpit floor when compare to Trumpeter. Just as usual I built it out of box

Looks great. What colors did you use? When I tried to research the colors on Fleet Air Arm a/c's it became a pain trying to decide to use British or US shades.

Thanks. I used Tamiya paint and just followed the instructions to mix the color ( graphite gray, 50/50 green & yellow for underside, and 50% green, 30% light olive, 20% white for the camo). I found a picture of the real one and tried to match the colors off it as well.

Thanks cnq. Sorry, I just noticed the scale is in the title. Duh!
