If someone gets the bar codes for the new planes (i.e. - F104, Bf-109G Hackl, or Bf-109G Sahl), if they could post them here. Thanks

I have seen the RC armour in the new paint schemes around Kansas City but not the new planes. The most recent plane I have come across was a green P47 bubble top. I did a price check on the original silver bubble top that they also had and got it for only $6.00.

Walmart in BA update..

Post by hworth18 » Mon Dec 05, 2005 10:52 am

I went back to the Walmart today and all 4 planes were still there.. Just a side note, The Skycap P-40 doesn't look like it has a pilot (Still too high to get a good look)..
Here are the SKU #'s for the 109's.. 063874810001 (same as the GRAF 109)..
When I left, there were 3 planes, minus the Hackl..
Hope this helps.. :D

Made a recon trip deep behind enemy lines today. Went to the Walmart in Johnson City, TN. They had 1:44 tanks (all of them), 1:32 playsets (all 3 and lots of each), 1:18 Command Car with 2 Airborne figures, 1:18 M41 Walker (which I bought), 3 various 1:18 P-47's, 3 1:18 FW 190's, a 1:18 F-104 Starfighter, a 1:18 P-40 Sky Captain of Tomorrow ( no pilot comes with this), 1:32 British Infantry (tons of these), 1:32 German Infantry series 5 (tons of these), a few 1:32 109's, 1:18 USMC series 3 (tons including Sahara figures), 2 1:18 Desert Camo Hummers, and a 1:32 88 Artillery piece.

It was the silver one, just like the one on the 21st Century home page. I don't know, but to me the pilot looks rather cheaply made. Maybe just a step above the Motorworks APC figures. The Plastic on him looks like a lower quality than usual, but he is very nicely detailed.

For those in the area, I was travelling through Corinth, Mississippi yesterday and found the new paint versions of the RC M113 and
Panzer at the SuperWalmart. Also found the 1:144 armored vehicles which are really cool for only a buck and some change each.

F-104 Starfighter price? $39.84 just like all the other planes. So all you 1:18 plane collectors be on the lookout at your local Walmart. Personally, I am a 1:18 figure and armor collector, uses alot less space.

Darn! What a deal on the F-104 and that plane was a bargain at the $55-$60 it went for at many small retailers! Makes me wish I'd waited, but then Wal Mart distribution can be spotty at times in my AO, especially for a plane being released in the limited numbers that you say they are! I'll still have to keep a look-out in my area. Based on spect_spidy's description of the other products found, I think I can narrow down which of the four stores in my area will possibly get them...

The Wal Mart on west Shaw in Fresno now has the 1:9 RC M1 Abrams, a bunch of the Dodge Command Cars & Trucks, desert hummers and newly stocked "Herman Graf" ME-109Gs (but none of the new aircraft releases.) They also had 60-70 of all the new 1:144 vehicles in their own little display at the end of an aisle.

SCORE 1 F-104!!!

Post by Razor17019 » Thu Dec 08, 2005 5:20 pm

I was at my local WM looking for figures and turned the corner and found a F-104 with a the plastic broken in on it, but everything still in it's place.

I asked the manager if I could get a % off because the plastic was off the box and I was going to give it as a present (to me!). So, he said sure 10% off. The price did not come up in their register, so they gave it to me for 35.00 + tax = 38.00!!!!!

This is the coolest find for me yet!

Except for my 3.00 BBI Corsair...

Christmas is going be XD filled!!!!

Best deal around

Post by digger » Thu Dec 08, 2005 6:23 pm

Razor, the 104 is $39 regularly. :D It is by far the best AC deal ever in terms of msrp. I guess if the COED Sherman is $23 then it's about right, but wow it's hard to beat that...

I don't know how WM always ends up smashing the box or the plastic, but Darn it they are gonna have to give me a discount (even 10%) for their careless handling of the merchandise.

The Walmart in Margate, FL has 3 109Gs. Two with the blue tail stripe, one with the yellow stripe. They aso have at least 4 of the 1/9 Abrams. The other two Walmarts in my area don't have squat for new stuff.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

Pleasanton, CA WM had a full stock of the 1/6 Abrams and Humvees (tan and green versions), a few FW 190's and some 1/32 XD items. Not much else. :(

Between all four of the Fresno, Ca. Wal Marts there was about 12 newly stocked "Herman Graff" ME-109Gs, four P-47 Bubbletops, RC Hummers & M1 Abrams, a very few BoB figures, and about 12 total of the 1:18 hummers, Command Cars and Dodge trucks. Nothing new and exciting.

1/9 Scale Abrams, 1/6 Humvees, and one Patton Jeep have shown up here. Finally got an upclose look at the Abrams and I'm not impressed.

Fayetteville WM had a couple of Black 12 Fw190's (new since last time I looked) AND they had a 104, 2 109G's (I bought the one with blue stripe, left the one with yellow), and the Sky Captain P40. Looks like the stuff is getting pretty good distribution in this area given other posts.
