Found some of the new closed coat germans, both of the new tankers, a bunch of S1 and S2 marines and the new S2 Rc Panzer. I only picked up the tankers and one closed coat german.

Perhaps with all these BotB figures showing we can hope to find them in areas where these never hit? I know the BotB figures were sparse at best and only showed as far as I know at one or two WM's in the area. One doesn't have much of any XD product and never got figures, I'm so disappointed because I'ma t that WM all the time.

Anyway I hope these and the Japanese are perhaps on the move for X-Mas because that's some gifts I'd like to wake up to. :)

My area never got the origional Wal Mart release of the BoB figures (or the S1 Marines for that matter), but was practically swamped with the S2 wave that had the repainted Germans. At one point, three of the four Wal Marts in the Fresno, CA area that had the BoB figures, two stores of which had not carried XD figures before. The figures were even restocked!! I was perhaps the only person in my AO that bought these figures in quantity (some sat around for a while) and was able to accumulate enough of the open & closed coat German infantry figures to make a small platoon and found enough of the green German tankers to crew my Tiger. My apologies for bragging, but it was awesome being able to expand my German forces so cheaply!

Just a quick tip on Walmart-
I use their layaway dept for all my XD needs.
Sometimes they get what I need, but I may be a little low on the cashflow.
Layaway the XD for another day....

I never knew layaway exsisted until my wife introduced it to me after we first got together, almost 11 years ago...
Time flies.

The WM in Clarksville IN. has b.o.t.b. figures, Sahara figs, and all 3 series of Marines, P-47 Bubble canopies (Eagleston and Eileen), and Fw-190's.

What the???

Looks like I'll hold back on ordering that Sahl 109 for a bit and save $20 as I wait for these to eventually show in my area! How much was the F-104?

Is this the first sighting of the XD Sky Captain P-40? Does it come with a pilot?

I didn't get to look at the F-104 or Sky Cap P-40 very closely, they were at the top of a tall isle and out of reach, but I think everything was the standard $39.84 price.. And just to note, that there was ONLY one of each of these and they weren't in the toy section.. They were on some overflow isles near the candy..

They were at the Walmart Supercenter in South Broken Arrow, off the Creek Turnpike.. The F-104 and Sky Cap planes are not in the toy section, but across the main isle where the candy/office supplies are, on top of the isle.. The Sahl 109 may be gone because I couldn't get it back where I got it so I put it back in the toy isle with the rest of the Fw-190s that were gathering dust.. The Hackl 109, I put on one of the other toy isles away from everything else.. So, it's an EASTER EGG HUNT!!! Have fun..

None of the new stuff in Fresno, California yet. Hopefully, they will show up soon!

I did come across a palate with about 8 1:6 Hummers and 4 1:9 M1 Abrams on it at one store. Another Wal Mart had about 6 P-47 Bubbletops, "Eagleston" variant and one "Black 12" FW-190. A third store had the new 32x German 7.5cm Infantry Gun sets with the crew and display base!

What did the packaging look like for the Starfighter and the new BF 109s?
Was it the special edition packaging specific to the plane or just the new design green box or was it the older blue box? Just want to know what to look for.

All the planes were in the new Green packaging.. I might add (if I didn't earlier) that there were only one of each plane on the shelf.. I am guessing that this is the new "assortment"..
