Dragon Armour Due in December

Post by Juneau@1 » Wed Nov 23, 2005 7:41 am

Has anyone heard if anything will come in the next two weeks in time for Christmas? They have a lot "scheduled" for December according to the Dragon USA website, which has been know to be off by weeks, and even a month or two or three

Just like you mentioned. . . nobody really knows. Send Lightning2000 a private message. He would probably know since he is a vendor.

Hi,
Thus far I only see two vehicles on the docket thru mid-December: a Hornisse SP gun and a second version of the StuG IV. With Xmas a few weeks away, even though several new vehicles might come in besides, it could be 2006 before they're available at the retail level. Believe me, its just as disappointing for vendors as it is for the customers. :(

Christmas is your bread and butter and knowing that you won'y be getting much new in has to be pretty harsh. It's annoying to us as collectors but it is real life to you as a vendor.

Dragon Delays

Post by Juneau@1 » Wed Nov 23, 2005 2:49 pm

I really don't mind the delays too much. What really anoys me is that they probably know already that about 1/2 of the tanks on the Dragon USA website that are slated for December won't be out until Jan or even Feb. Why not just have it listed on the website.

Actually, the holidays arent a make or break season for us. I cant speak for all vendors, but for us its pretty steady throughout the year largely because we sell collectibles, not fad items like the latest toy or garment. Of course, revenue does increase around the holidays, but its largely dependent upon the product mix available, inventory issues, special programs offered by the manufacturers, etc.

I just think its equally strange that products like the Jagdpanther with zimmerit and Panther with zimmerit still havent come out yet especially since the first one was announced late last year. Like I said earlier, we have to wait in line just like the collector...

Anyways, Happy Thanskgiving!
