I saw this on "The Fighting 118th." BBI was talking about the possiblity of a future "Gun Shield" release of a Humvee. Not holding my breath but it would be cool to add to Pickel's conversions. Click on the picture below the Huey.

Re: A possible BBI Gun Shield Humvee release
That's the sort of Hummer BBI should have released, particularly right around their high point in 2005-06. Would have had a bit of real-world significance then at the height of the Iraq war and all, moreso than the shieldless versions with the TOW launchers.
Pickelhaube's kit of the same part is fantastic as well (I've got one on my 21c Hummer) but it would be nice to have a mass-produced version.
Perhaps with BBI's recent resurgence, they may consider this again...

Re: A possible BBI Gun Shield Humvee release
I think it could be a good re-release with a few new molds. The PH kit with windows is probably much better, doors should also be armoured like the most recent pics in Irak show. But Pickel has so much orders in progress on his workbench...

Here are the 2008 photos of BBI's proposed Gun Shield Humvee. Who knows maybe in the near future we will see it again.
