John Jenkins tanks
Has anyone purchased any of these pre-WWII tanks? I saw the latest one it's a Soviet T26 I believe. Very nice detail. I think it's going for about $159. The early Panzers are very cool too.

I saw the Soviet BT5 tank. Very nice. Both the T26 and the BT 5 would be great additions to anyone's Soviet armor. Both of these pre-WWII tanks would have been used in Poland and Finland and I would guess in the early stages of the German invasion.

I have the Spanish Republican T-26 on order and it should arrive shortly. I understand that these 1:30th scale models are made from metal and plastic---mainly---and look to be of high quality. If I like the T-26 I'll probably get a Panzer I and, later, a Soviet BT-5 in Spanish Republican markings, which is about to be released.

You are right, Ketelone. I just received my Jenkins T-26 and it really knocked my socks off---so much so that I ordered a PZ MK I to go with it. Here's a picture:

That is a great looking armour model, Ed.
Sure, its expensive, but looking at the detail and weathering, think it is worth it.

Thanks, Snake. Here's a picture of the Pz I, which just arrived:

Re: John Jenkins tanks
To update this thread, my BT-5 finally arrived and, like the others, is a very nice replica of this widely used Soviet 1930s tank. Here's a picture of all three of my John Jenkins armor pieces:
