Rats, I would have gone for a camo version, but this repaint doesn't do it for me. I'll just be content with my S1 version for now. Too bad....

Same here. Paint schemes a little too similar. I'll pass.

Lots of people missed the first one so have at it.

A helicopter does not want to fly, it just vibrates so much that the ground rejects it

I really was hoping for “SHOWTIME 100” but this livery is starting to grow on me. Will probably get it, I just dig Phantoms.

The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

YOXFORD:

Showtime 100 has a lot of history that collectors would pay for. Fortunately, I have the Hobby Master Showtime 100, but I think BBI missed the boat (i.e. aircraft carrier) on this one.

Kind of agree with you, Yoxford.

It should sell okay, as it is the only 1/32 Phantom available, and the scheme is not that bad.

But if they had gone with some other squadron/ scheme, think sales would be much more brisk.

Just my opinion, and I am in no way slamming the model.

More pics...

Flying Mule has pre-order of $89.99, free shipping and estimated arrival Dec.

I think AG, Foxhole and Booming may have a better deal?

I always wanted to get the JR scheme but got into the game late and prices went beyond what I was willing to pay for. I've gotten quite a few Hobby Master F-4s so my desire for a 1/32 F-4 has waned, though it is not really a fair comparison to a impressive 1/32 beast.

Not sure what to make of this choice of scheme for a much desired re-release but I have a feeling this scheme may grow on you after you have it displayed or weathered up some. I also think $90-100 is a fair price to pay if you really think honestly about it (all the reasons and debate that has gone on which doesnt need to be repeated).

I wish this all the best to do well and have more schemes planned for the future.
