Soviet P-39 all done pics added.

Post by MZ826 » Tue Aug 21, 2012 7:51 am

Almost finished with this one. A bit more weathering and work on the underside where the cannons were removed. I can post some more pics when she is all done if anyone would like to see them
Aircraft is white 15 of the 19th Giap, based in Murmansk in December of 1942. Hope you like it!

Looks fantastic. I love the soviet P-39 paint schemes.

Very nice work, look forward seeing the underside when you are all done.
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

Here she is after a bit weathering. Cannons were removed, and underside of wings were filled and sanded.

Mine's on the to-do list after I finish my C.202 Folgore, Raiden, and BF-110. Russia is currently the only nation I have no planes for up yet.
