A BA-64 From GE Fabbri

Post by Epap » Fri Jan 13, 2012 12:38 pm

My latest acquisition from the GE Fabbri series of diecast Soviet armor models is a 1:43rd scale rendition of the BA-64----a light armored car that served the Soviet forces from 1942 to 1956 and was used by the North Koreans in their invasion of South Korea in 1950 ( approximately 12,000 of these were manufactured in several versions ). The model is quite nice for a mass produced, low budget item, and I recommend it to anyone interested in Soviet ACs. It can be had right now via eBay. Here are some pictures of the model, following some weathering and other minor upgrades:Image
